How can I contact you? There are loads of ways you can connect with us! - Via the 'Contact' page on our website: This can be found in the top navigation bar. We ask for your email address so we can get back to you but that's the only required field! - Via the live chat function: At the bottom right of your screen when on our website, you'll see a chat bubble. This function will send us a message, which we can reply to if we're online. If we aren't online then the chat function will ask you for your email address so we can get back to you as soon as possible. - Via email: Our email address ("team@belongadventures.com") is monitored by the whole Belong team. We work hard to make sure your questions and inquiries are handled promptly and by the right member of our expert team. - Via phone: Some of our service pages will have a mobile number included at the bottom of the page. This number goes directly to the member of our team who operates and manages that service so they're the best person to help you with your questions! If you'd like to request a phone call at any point, you can ask us to call you via our other contact methods. - Via social media: We have a presence on several social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. All of these include a chat functionality that let us connect with you! You can message us, comment on our posts or tag us in your posts. We always make an effort to engage with people on social media. - Via online video calls: Some of our services are run via online video calls. If you'd prefer to talk to us via an online video call you can request one via our other contact methods. Sometimes we suggest a video call if your inquiry is best answered by visually showing you things. If you are on one of our calls, there's no obligation to have your camera on! If you have any accessibility barriers that effect how you can connect with us please do let us know. We are always flexible and adaptable to your needs and can make adjustments for you!

What is an adventure sport?Adventure sport is a big umbrella covering lots of outdoor sports. Traditionally they've been referred to as 'extreme sports' but we don't believe adventure sports have to be extreme! Most people who paddle with sports like kayaking, paddle boarding, or canoeing, do so on their local rivers, canals, and lakes. There are opportunities to paddle on rapids which we call 'whitewater paddling' and is 'extreme'. More land-based sports like climbing, hiking, or biking can be just as leisurely! Most people that hike or bike aren't doing so up the face of Ben Nevis. Adventure sports are just that, adventurous!

Who do you work with?We pride ourselves on being an inclusive provider! We work with anyone who wants to engage with the outdoors, whether that's a youth group creating new experiences, or an individual wanting to try something new. We've already worked with a huge range of people including local councils, churches, and corporate groups, and we can't wait for what's next! Accessibility is at the core of what we do, so if you're concerned that you or your group won't be able to get involved please do get in touch and we'll talk you through the whole process!

Why do you do courses and sell equipment? We believe courses and equipment sales go hand in hand. Many of our course participants end up getting their own equipment so the can go on adventures themselves, and many of our equipment customers book courses with us to learn more about using their kit! By providing both, we're ensuring that the outdoors is an accessible place to explore. You need kit and knowledge; we provide both.

What if I want to know more about you?Our 'About Us' page is a good place to start! It has lots of information about who we are, why we started the company, and some of our goals! If you want to talk to us like fellow humans, we can phone, video call, or even come and meet you! The outdoor community thrives on personal interactions so we don't just hide behind our screens. If you'd like to learn more or enquire about a completely free meeting with us (virtual or in person) then visit the 'Contact Us' page and get in touch!

How do I book a course or activity? Many of our sessions can be booked online. Many will allow you to select an available date (7 days in advance) and get immediate confirmation! Some will ask you to suggest a date and request to book; we'll get in touch to confirm your booking once we've checked availability and logistics. If you want to book a session within 7 days, you'll need to get in touch with us to make the booking. Sometimes our sessions will show as unavailable on our website but you'll still be able to read about them. You'll need to get in touch with us to discuss booking one of these sessions. If you'd prefer to make your booking via email or over the phone, our contact details are included on the bottom of each session page, or you can visit the Contact page.

Where do you host your sessions? We have several venues across Stratford, Warwick, Leamington, Coventry, Hinckley and Birmingham where we can run your session! Having multiple venues means that we can be flexible to your goals and host your session in an easy-to-get-to accessible location. We will often suggest a suitable venue based on the type of session and what you want to get out of it. If you would prefer to use a different venue then let us know and we can make adjustments for you. Occasionally we may need to change the venue because of the weather, the water conditions or other factors but we'll always communicate this with you in advance.

What do I wear? When you make your booking with us, you'll receive a Booking Pack which includes specific information on what to wear for the session you've booked. In general, any outdoor clothing like running clothes, or gym apparel will work! You want to avoid materials like Denim or Wool, and try to put on a few layers if it's cold. Specialist kit like wetsuits can be useful but aren't essential. Remember that you'll need to dress appropriately for the weather, air temperature, and water temperature (for our SUP activities). If you need more guidance you can contact us for more help, or book a free advice session with us!

Do I have to be able to swim for paddle boarding? For our paddle-board courses, you do not need to be able to swim. As part of the equipment that we provide for the course, you'll be wearing a Buoyancy Aid (or 'PFD'). These jackets will float you in the water if you fall in so you don't need to do any swimming! You'll also be wearing a leash which connects you to your board, so if you fall off the board won't float out of reach. Our staff are all trained in water rescue and will be on hand to help you get back on your board if you're struggling.

Will I need to complete a consent form for my course?Yes, all participants in a course or activity will each need a consent form completed before they attend. Our consent forms are digital so we'll send you a link to complete it online. The form is quick and easy to complete but if you are having any problems please do get in touch! For group bookings, we'll send the link to the group leader (or the person making the booking) and we'll ask that you circulate it and ensure all participants have completed it. We'll also send you a link to a spreadsheet which is automatically updated when people complete their forms so you'll be able to keep track. If you'd prefer the consent form in a different format we can arrange that. We chose to use digital forms to reduce our paper usage and to increase the security of your data.
